The River Safari in Singapore is the world’s first river-themed wildlife park, housing more than 5000 different animals. In this attraction, a large number of the world’s freshwater aquatic animals are housed in a with a series of walkthrough exhibits. These exhibits have taken inspiration from iconic rivers of the world such as the Mississippi, Nile, Amazon, Congo, Ganges, Mekong and Yangtze. In addition to aquatic animals, the River Safari is also home to other species such as Orangutans, Tigers, Sea Lions, Giraffes, etc. There are different zones such as the Africa zone which is home to many tigers and the Australian outback with its hoards of Kangaroos.
